The Welsh Gymanfa Ganu Association of Wisconsin welcomes you to attend the Welsh Weekend for All on May 3 and 4, 2025. Details on the weekend’s events are outlined below.

EISTEDDFOD NOTE: Refer to the promotional materials and eisteddfod guidelines for details about entering the eisteddfod categories: literary, recitation, solo voice, visual art.

CHURCH NOTE: The church is fully accessible and air conditioned. The sanctuary is upstairs, and the fellowship hall is downstairs. If you have mobility concerns, be sure to park near the downstairs entrance at the back of the church. There is an elevator available.

SATURDAY, May 3, 2025

Location: Jerusalem Cemetery, US Route 83 & Brandybrook Road, Wales WI

1:00 “Welsh Cemetery Tour” led by Robert Humphries. Put on your comfortable shoes, look for the Welsh flag on the east side of Route 83 and join us for an informative tour of the Welsh Cemeteries in Wales WI.

Location: Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main Street, Wales WI

3:00 Snacks in the fellowship hall downstairs. Take time to view and judge the Visual Arts entries. Eisteddfod performances. Art project “Drawing a Dragon.” Chairing of the bard for the Literary competition, and awarding of winners for the Music, Recitation and Visual Arts competitions.

Location: Revere’s Wells Street Tavern, Wisconsin Room, 505 Wells Street, Delafield WI

6:00 Pub Night. Seating is limited to 40 persons and the meal cost is $25 per person.
IMPORTANT: Email Jan Batty at rbatty@wi.rr.com or text her at 414-861-2202 as soon as possible to let her know the name of your party and the number attending.
Upon arrival: Choose from one of the following entrees: Classic Burger, Caesar Chicken Wrap, Veggie Tacos or The Nashville (pulled pork). Meal includes homemade chips.
Payment: $25 per person includes meal, gratuity, tax, and room rental fee. Cash, or check to “Welsh Gymanfa Ganu Association of Wisconsin.”
Cash bar available.
