The Welsh Gymanfa Ganu Association of Wisconsin welcomes you to attend the Welsh Weekend for All on May 4 and 5, 2025. Details on the weekend’s events are outlined below.
There is no registration requirement for any of the activities. The only costs to you are the $15 fee to tour the Al Ringling Theater on Saturday, and your meal at the Al Ringling Brewing Company on Saturday night.
Please join in the fun and help celebrate and promote Welsh culture. You don’t need to be Welsh to attend! Our website is: wggaw.org
EISTEDDFOD NOTE: Refer to the promotional materials and eisteddfod guidelines for details about entering the eisteddfod categories: literary, recitation, solo voice, visual art.
UPDATE: The deadline for entries for the Literary and Musical categories has been extended to midnight, May 2, 2024.
CHURCH NOTE: The church is fully accessible and air conditioned. The sanctuary is upstairs, and the fellowship hall is downstairs. If you have mobility concerns, be sure to park near the downstairs entrance at the back of the church. There is an elevator available.

1:00 Gather in the theater lobby. Tour and organ concert. Cost is $15 per person; $12 per person for seniors and if we have a group of 10 or more.

Noon The church will be open if you want to drop off your Visual Arts entry for the eisteddfod. Please use the lower level entry at the back of the church.
2:30 Tea and treats break in the fellowship hall downstairs. Take time to view and judge the Visual Arts entries for the eisteddfod.
3:00 Eisteddfod performances
4:00 Robert Humphries presentation on “Welsh Settlers on the Baraboo River”
4:45 Chairing of the bard for the Literary competition, and awarding of winners for the Music, Recitation and Visual Arts competitions.

6:00 Pub Night. Place your dinner order at the bar – American and Paraguayan cuisine (alringlingbrewing.com)
